Introducing Hand Made Artful Albums and Watercolor custom printing!
We have so many wonderfully exciting new things to show you this year!! We are looking forward to providing you with custom artistic and unique ways to show off your wedding images! There are some photographs of the new Hand Made Artful Albums! These are custom designed and hand crafted books. The images are printed on water color and mounted into the book. Different papers and pop-ups make it three dimensional. I have always loved making books and I have finally found a way to offer them to you! So so excited to be making this fine art turn with my presentation of my wedding images. Any input or opinions you have are greatly welcomed! Enjoy!
New Artistic Encaustic Prints and Hand Made Albums!!
We are so excited to offer these BEAUTIFUL encautic prints. Encaustic prints are photographs that are printed on watercolor paper. Then mounted on to a wood box, and detailed with bees wax and oil paints making each piece a work of art! These organic beautiful images will amaze you. The options are limitless and we are so excited to be working with this new medium! Here is a link to Carol Aarons new website, she is the one that introduced me to this type of print and created these two beautiful samples to show all you! Thanks Carol we are in love! www.lucidography.com
The Process
The mounted photograph is sealed under multiple layers of natural beeswax mixed with hardening resin. The beeswax and resin blend together to provide a translucent, temperature stable layer that will intensify contrasts while providing a slightly impressionistic presentation. Oil paint accents and or small thin objects like flowers can be encased within the layers of wax.
