I had the pleasure of working with Flashes of Hope again! This time we went to a camp in the county and photographed 85 or so kids that were there for a week. Every time I get the chance to work with these kids I am reminded of their uncanny strength and amazing attitudes! Each and every one of them are incredible in their own unique and special way! Thank you Flashes of Hope for letting me help!! "Flashes of Hope is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating uplifting portraits of children fighting cancer and other life threatening illnesses. The portraits, taken by award-winning photographers, help children feel better about their changing appearance by celebrating it. For families of terminally ill children, it's especially important to have a portrait that preserves forever the beauty, grace and dignity of their child."
Here are a few pictures that I took that day.
"I think the best pictures are often on the edges of any situation, I don't find photographing the situation nearly as interesting as photographing the edges." ~William Albert Allard~
