"I think the best pictures are often on the edges of any situation, I don't find photographing the situation nearly as interesting as photographing the edges." ~William Albert Allard~

Flashes of Hope
I got the chance to work with Flashes of Hope again last week. Flashes of Hope is a non-profil organization dedicated to creating powerful, uplifting portraits of children fighting cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. My first experience with Flashes of Hope was last spring when I helped a friend photograph one of the first sessions of the Baltimore chapter. I was so moved by what the organization was providing for these kids and there families that I was looking forward to helping again in some way. These kids have a special light & strength in their eyes which is much wiser then their years. You can't help but be drawn into their expressions. If you have a chance check out their website Flashes of Hope
Here are a few photos from my shoot.
