Spring Post

Well, it has been a crazy spring!! I have been very busy with moving to my first house, and an abundance of spring weddings. So I have fallen behind in posts, so here are some images from the last several weeks, enjoy!

Melanie & Shaun were married on the 12th of April in Cambridge, Maryland at the Hyatt Cheaspeak Bay. The weather held out for us, and Melanie and Shaun were a pleasure to photograph! They had a western theme with cowboy boots and all! Thanks Mel & Shaun, it was a pleasure working with your family once again! ( I photographed her sisters wedding 2 years ago)

Liz & Neal's Engagement Shoot

Two weeks ago I got up really early and meet Liz & Neal at the monuments for the opening of the cherry blossoms. We had a great time fighting for the perfect spot to take photos. I had no idea that it is so busy and that every other engaged couple had the same idea we did. We had a lot of fun even with it being a bit chilly. Here's a few of some of the shots.

Frontwise Show

Frontwise played another show on March 6th, at the Blackhole Rock Club. My photo friend, Mindy and I decided to make it another photo oppertunity! Here is what we came up with, thanks Mindy it was fun!

Landon's Bar Mitzvah

I first met the whole Flieschman family a week ago to photograph their family portraits. I had a great time with them and really enjoyed photographing them. Then a week later was Landon's party and agin I had a blast with them. It turns out that all three boys play music and Paul even sings! So here are some of the photos taken from both shoots.

Tara's Bat Mitzvah

Two weeks ago I photographed Tara's Bat Mitzvah. The party reminded me of what it's like to be 13! The theme was a beach party which included games and dancing and just plain fun! I had a great time with the Wendell family and thought I'd share some of their photos.

Flashes of Hope

I got the chance to work with Flashes of Hope again last week. Flashes of Hope is a non-profil organization dedicated to creating powerful, uplifting portraits of children fighting cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. My first experience with Flashes of Hope was last spring when I helped a friend photograph one of the first sessions of the Baltimore chapter. I was so moved by what the organization was providing for these kids and there families that I was looking forward to helping again in some way. These kids have a special light & strength in their eyes which is much wiser then their years. You can't help but be drawn into their expressions.
